The Alpine Space Programme Mid-Term Conference “Driving cooperation for the Alps” will be held from 16-17 June 2011, in Grenoble (France).

The Conference will offer a high quality programme, including keynote speakers, plenary sessions, moderated interview rounds, panel discussions and thematic/technical workshops.

At the mid-way point of the programming period 2007-2013, partners from the seven countries cooperating under the EU transnational programme for the Alps will come together at this major Conference to take stock of where the Alpine Space Programme stands today on its course for sustainable regional development. Programme representatives, project actors and potential new partners as well as policy and decision makers are invited to learn from initial project outcomes, share good practices and look ahead at the perspectives for the Alpine Space Programme.

In conjunction with the MidTerm Conference, there will be a Project Fair showing the achievements of about 25 projects under the Alpine Space Programme. The Conference will also feature many opportunities to enhance interactions among Programme representatives, project actors, and policy and decision makers.
