Vulcanus in Europe and Keys to Japan

The EU-Japan Centre is promoting Vulcanus in Europe and Keys to Japan, two highly demanded opportunities for European companies.

Vulcanus in Europe. Through the Vulcanus in Europe programme you can offer a Japanese student an 8-month traineeship within your company (*), providing you with a valuable addition to your workforce and the trainee with the experience of a lifetime. The Vulcanus in Europe programme has the following objectives: to provide EU companies with skilled Japanese students as trainees to help them in the development of their business with Japan and to familiarise a pool of future Japanese executives with Europe’s business culture, its economic structure and its institutions, so that they will be well-placed to help their future employers in their business relations with Europe.

Keys to Japan. It is an European Commission-funded initiative, managed by the EU-Japan Centre. If you are considering marketing a product or service in Japan and you are an SME from an EU Member-State or COSME Third Country, under Keys to Japan, you can get a detailed and personalised market entry business plan, prepared by JMEC. For 2017 there will be one winner. Your plan is worth €10,000: the EU-Japan Centre will subsidise € 7,000, and your company will contribute for the difference.
